Inspector community - Become an inspector at BMB

In the first six months of your work at BMB, you will get to know the working methods and processes at BMB alongside an experienced auditor. After the trial period, the assistant will be trained as an inspector. The theoretical and practical training as a test worker is based on DIN 54 161 (draft). This in-house training is carried out by experienced and qualified employees. If the test is passed, the employee receives a certificate in accordance with DIN 54 161 (draft) as proof of qualification as a test worker. After the appropriate training phase, he can test alone.

It is also possible for the test worker to be trained at DGZfP in levels 1 and 2. After passing the examination he can receive a certificate. For the test procedures penetrant testing and digital radioscopy we have test workers as well as level 1 and level 2 inspectors. The person responsible for testing has level 3 and is certified by the DGZfP. Our testing officer is on the European list for testing officers and is therefore approved in the EU.

In order to also be allowed to test aviation parts, we have Level 1 inspector who are trained and qualified in accordance with EN 4179 and NAS 410. The person responsible for testing has the qualification of level 3 according to EN 4179 and NAS 410.

Once every 12 months, the inspectors are trained in their test technology. Topics of the further training are: News about testing technology, news about standardization, refreshing safety at work and environmental protection. The objective here is to generate a uniform level of knowledge for all inspectors.

We carry out visual acuity checks every 12 months.
Our training is based on DIN EN ISO 9712 and the associated re-qualification.
